A touch of Dr. Seuss mixed with Addams Family; Gorey's books reflect his dark humor and aren't for the faint of heart. This story follows poor Millicent's disappearance and ultimate sacrifice to the Insect God.
This highly collectible tome is signed by Gorey on the title page. Hardcover, excellent condition for it's age. The dust jacket has a couple of tears on the top edge, I've included a close-up photo for better detailing.
