A war-worthy vessel used by Starfleet in the 24th century, the Nebula-class employed many of the same components as the Galaxy-class–but configured differently, they formed a completely different design. The ship made its debut in the debris field in 'The Best of Both Worlds', but only the most eagle-eyed of viewers would have seen it–it made its full debut in 'The Wounded', when the design was used for Captain Maxwell's ship.
The model shows the U.S.S. Honshu as it appeared in the closing scenes of Star Trek: Generations, with design concepts and original sketches featured in the accompanying magazine, along with details of how the Cardassians were created and more.
